Claes Oldenburg at MoMA

Claes Oldenburg at MoMA
The Museum of Modern Art is featuring four of Claes Oldenburg's major bodies of work until August 5. Created in the 1960s, The Street and The Store are comprised of sardonic sculptures of consumer products, from painted plaster desserts to a super supersized "floor-burger." Mouse Museum and Ray Gun Wing were both made a decade later and are the by-products of a more minimalist, architecturally-structured approach of the artist. When: Through August 5 Where: MoMA, 11 West 53rd Street [Photo via]
