The String and the Mirror at Lisa Cooley Gallery
A group presentation of sound-based works,
The String and the Mirror attempts to explore the physicality and existence of aural art, rather than simply displaying it through different media. Sound's expansive and uncontrollable nature is set to be hyper-realized by visitors' senses, as the works, placed in such close proximity to each other, are meant to leak and blend, causing a disorienting experience.
