Sheep Station at Getty Station
What would be the New York thing to do with an old gas station taking up space in Chelsea's gallery district? Turn it into a public art project, of course! The inaugural exhibition of Getty Station is
Sheep Station, a showcase of works by the late artist François-Xavier Lalanne. The "surrealist landscape" will feature 25 of the stone and bronze sheep sculptures that Lalanne was so famous for throughout his career.
An opening cocktail and barbecue reception will be held on September 16, from 6-9 pm
