Dream Concerts
You've probably already caught a glimpse of Andre's newest series,
Dream Concerts, since they've made their way to streets in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The exhibit launched at the
Surf Lodge in Montauk this past weekend, but over the past few months Andre has been plastering posters featuring unbelievable concert lineups such as Dr. Dre vs Jay-Z with Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, ASAP Rocky, Eminem, and Andre 3000 around the world.
The posters initially had some viewers confused, but observers quickly recognized the unmistakable pink and blue combination and realized that it was Saraiva's work. Andre uses the posters to comment on the commercial nature of modern society by building anticipation and playing on viewers fantasies.
