Survival of Serena at Petrosino Square

Survival of Serena at Petrosino Square
Carole Feuerman's lifelike sculpture of a swimmer resting in the busy intersection of Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown is traffic stopping. The peaceful artwork is a stark contrast to the area. Feuerman spent six months applying more than 100 layers of paint to the bronze sculpture to make it look like a realistic wax figure. Well done!
