Masks

Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, $30 ; Kristals Diamond Anti-Gravity Magnetic Mask, $750 ; Plant Matcha Antioxidant Face Mask, $24 ; Dr. Brandt Magnetite Age Definer, $75

When we first tried Dr. Brandt's Magnetite, we knew we found the holy grail. We were apprehensive about a face mask infused with iron that you need a magnet to remove. It sounds crazy, but it leaves our skin smooth and firm. The secret to the mask are the magnetic currents that zap away visible signs of aging. The iron magnetic particles that are in the mask draw out impurities and daily residue. You put on an even layer, leave on for 20 minutes, then use the magnet they give you to go over the mask and draw it out. It's like a force field of sucking bad things out of your skin. We love it so much we had to include it for the second time in our roundup. It deserves a permanent spot if you ask us.

We know you've heard about the black masks that remove blackheads - we came to the conclusion that it doesn't work for us because we were never getting the right results. What we didn't realize is that you're supposed to leave it on for a long time - at least 30 minutes until it fully dries and becomes almost like a wax that you're ripping from your skin, but more gentle. We tried it for the second time and can assure you that it really does work - make sure to steam your face and open your pores beforehand for maximum effect.
