The Greatest House Party This Side Of The Atlantic

The Greatest House Party This Side Of The Atlantic
Once word spread there was a giant rabbit working the door, we decided it was time to head deep down into Chinatown and check out New York's mostly highly anticipated club since ever. Needless to say, it lived up to its expectations. If you're lucky enough to get past William the Bunny, be prepared for a night of French indie techno, smoke machines, and believe it or not, a complete lack of snobbery.  The pomposity ends at the door. The three-floor nightclub, bathed in red light, is far longer than it is wide, boasts ridiculously high ceilings and a bar on every floor. Cocktail waitresses clad in semi-traditional (emphasis on semi) Vietnamese garb reiterate the theme of upscale 1970s Saigon brothel- otherwise you may be under the impression you've crashed a house party in Montmartre, that has really, really cool wallpaper. The top level is pretty tame, the middle for mingling, and downstairs is just an all out rager, where dancing can get real creative- as there's a no photo policy. (sorry) [Editor Chelsea Burcz]
