"Best $2k I Ever Spent!" LMFAO And Lil' Jon At Irving Plaza

by SARAH MANDATO · January 11, 2010

Irving Plaza is an eclectic NYC venue bursting with personality. Whenever we hear its name, we think, "Right, where is that place?" Kidding, but not really - sometimes falling under the radar because it is nestled next to Gramercy Park and doesn't appear to do extensive advertising, the spot hosts some of the best bands playing the circuit and always collects a young, fun crowd. Saturday was case in point, as LMFAO, Lil Jon and Far East Movement inspired long lines around which those NYU kids and late night Trader Joe's shoppers had to weave. If you need a reason to queue up to have beats blasting at your wind and chill beaten ears, it's to hear classics such as, "I Am Not a Whore," and "Bitches Ain't Shit," am I right?
