1. What to expect overall

Remember, this isn't Manhattan anymore. The rules of "nightlife etiquette" in Manhattan do not apply in Brooklyn. Every party is fair game for both guys and girls. So you should expect anything and everything -- including cops, drugs, and alcohol, the perfect remedy for a good time. Most raves are in warehouses, located in probably the most sketchy parts of Brooklyn. Your chances of getting shot are higher than the yearly shark attacks, but don't worry, you should be fine.
