Heath Ledger Rolled His Cigarettes In Swan Papers?

The Five LeavesThere's a new bar on the watch list. The corner of Lorimer and Bedford, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is set to be home of "The Five Leaves", a bar that will be opened by one of Heath Ledger's good friends. In fact, Ledger was a "key backer of the project and was going to be a full partner." (From "Heath Ledger's Final Act."):

His untimely death put the project in jeopardy, but his father became executor of the estate, and because he knew how much the project meant to Heath, he released the funds to finish construction. The name Five Leaves is a working name, and comes from Swan cigarette papers that tell you when there are just five left in a package. [DBTH]

So, was Heath a roller? This may be just the thing that gets us to Brooklyn this fall....

I don't think Heath rolled Swans... however he had stated that his favourite artist was a man by the name of Nick Drake whom had a album named "Five Leaves Left." That most likely is how the name came about. Anyhow I'm sure the bar will be incredible and is a great way to remeber a great actor.

Yeah, the above poster is right. Heath Ledger named the bar after the Nick Drake album. I don't think he rolled his cigarettes either. Last I heard he smoked marlboro reds
