Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, America's premier summer arts day camp, presents its annual Gala, including a 7 PM concert in the 1,000-seat on-site McKinley Ampitheater. Featured will be senior music, dance and drama students, and a highlight will be a performance of the rarely-done "Sacred Service" for chorus and orchestra by Ernest Bloch, conducted by award-winning composer/conductor Adam Glaser, with baritone Jesse Blumberg (Santa Fe Opera, Mark Morris Dance Group) as guest soloist. There are $150 Patron tickets, including a 5 PM dinner under the stars on Usdan's 200-acre woodland campus, plus reserved parking and seating; and $25 concert-only tickets.
