| Description |
Luma Rouge is a fixture at burlesque NYC events, sketch pad and pencils in hand. Her sketches and finished drawings are nothing short of awe-inspiring pieces of art.
An exhibition of over 75 of artist Luma Rouge's burlesque drawings and paintings will be showing at Susan Eley Fine Art 12/9-1/21. The selection combines sketches of New York's neo-burlesque performers,—drawn live and at rapid-fire speed during shows—with artwork of Cher, Christina Aguilera and Alan Cumming drawn live while Luma watched the filming of Burlesque the new film (she was asked by Sony Pictures to sketch the actors and dancers during filming.)
*OPENING RECEPTION*
Thursday, December 9, 6p-9pm
Watch the artwork come to life as Melody Sweets, the shimmering chanteuse of burlesque, performs live as well as burlesque stars, Darlinda, Just Darlinda and Legs Malone!
