Gold Emotion announces a series of gilded events in the US market introducing Luxor Brut (http://luxorbrutusa.com), a collection of premium 24 karat gold laced champagnes. The initial celebration will take place December 1, 2010 at New York City’s posh and exclusive, Kiss & Fly located at 409 W. 13th Street, hosted by Oversea Productions & Radiofgusa.com. Other scheduled dates for Gold Emotion includes the December 4th Washington, DC celebration at the Shadow Room, located at 2131 K Street, NW.
Luxor Brut is produced in France in very limited quantities, and evokes the magnificent splendor of Louis XIV’s receptions at Versailles Palace. Gold Emotion reinvents celebration for a select audience of invited guests representing tastemakers, celebrity, hospitality and nightlife executives. Luxor Brut's Inaugural Celebration of the Ultimate Luxury from Champagne is set to be a Made in France. Upon entry, a gold leaf will be exquisitely applied to each gentleman’s hand and adorn every lady’s neck. Acclaimed Chef Nicolas Cantrel of Bistrot Bagatelle will pair hors d’ouerves embellished with flakes of gold along with samplings of Luxor Brut. The atmosphere is completed with 15 year international house icon, DJ Nicolas Matar accompanied by go-go dancers and a model gilded with gold live for the audience’s viewing pleasure.
Luxor Brut’s unique cuvee blending is as follows: 90% Pinot Noir which addscharacteristics of red fruit; 7% Chardonnay introducing elegance and style, and 3% Pinot Meunier which adds a supple finish in the mouth. The natural effervescence of Champagne enhances the glimmer of the gold flecks.
Since the XV century, gold has been widely implemented in medicine. It has been used throughout the ages to improve mental capacity, to regenerate deficient organs, and it is currently prescribed for nervous disorders including: breakdown, fears and frustrations. It also promotes increased blood circulation, relieves arthritis and stimulates cellular activity. Some people even say it is an aphrodisiac.
Luxor Brut was recently named the official champagne of the Friars Club Roast in honor of Quentin Tarantino, hosted by Roastmaster Samuel L. Jackson to be held in New York earlier in the evening prior to Gold Emotion. Friars Club was founded in 1904 as a meeting place for entertainers and over the years has achieved legendary status. Its membership includes the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Lucille Ball, Barbra Streisand, John Travolta and Milton Berle. The Friars Club "Monastery" is headquartered in Midtown Manhattan in a classic townhouse and is a haven for entertainers young and old.
