South Africa’s Umuzi Photo Club brings the works of its young township photographers to The powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn.
The exhibition offers candid, raw, poignant insight into Johannesburg slum life, from the perspective of its remarkably gifted and observant high school photographers. The show makes this its final stop for the year after visiting galleries in London, Johannesburg, Melbourne, and Antwerp.
