Tory Burch & Making Books Sing 2010 Holiday Shopping Party

Tory Burch will open her Meatpacking District location to New York City fashionistas who like to ’shop for a cause.’ Twenty percent of all sales made during this event will support Making Books Sing’s arts education programs for the 2010-11 season. The event will include cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, some words about Making Books Sing’s programming and most importantly, shopping! The evening’s co-host will be Broadway actress/choreographer Lorin Latarro (American Idiot) and WBLS-FM radio and television personality Egypt Sherrod. Ms. Latarro is also the choreographer for Making Books Sing’s 2011 production SKY BOYS: The Building of the Empire State Building. Ms. Sherrod, primarily known by her first name, is the Midday Personality on NYC’s 107.5 WBLS, hosts Fine Living Network’s ’Bartender Wars,’ is a correspondent for NBC Universal’s ’The Maury Show’ and co-hosts the syndicated daytime TV hit ’Home Delivery’ (now re- airing on the Ion Network).
