A Taste of Fall

Enjoy a walk-around tasting at one of New York's hottest nightspots--230 Fifth (230 Fifth Avenue at 27th Street, 20th Floor). http://atasteoffall.charityhappenings.org/ The Penthouse Lounge at 230 Fifth, which will host the C-CAP Junior Benefit, ’A Taste of Fall,’ has breathtaking panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, with a 'head-on' look at the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, as well as the golden domed New York Life Building and purple crowned Met Life Building. In the distance as you look up the Hudson River, you will catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. ’A Taste of Fall’ will feature savory and sweet signature dishes prepared by young, up-and-coming C-CAP graduate chefs, now cooking in top restaurants in New York and New Jersey. Johnny Cardenas, The Garden Wine Bar at the Four Seasons Mehdi Chellaoui, Mehdi Truffles, Inc. Daniel Coward and Giovanna Delli Compagni, Asiate Kelvin Fernandez, Strand American Bistro Stephanie Grajales, The Ritz-Carlton Central Park Sean Quinn, Chadwick's (Brooklyn) Santo Saitta, Pasticceria Bruno Corey Wallerson, Prudential Center (Newark, NJ) The evening will feature innovative cocktails by Bacardi, wines and prosecco from Charmer Sunbelt Group, and an exciting silent auction. Music will be provided by the David Grausman Trio. Proceeds from the event will benefit the C-CAP Scholarship Fund.
