The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation will host its annual star-studded A Magical Evening gala, marking their 20th Anniversary on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at The Marriott Marquis in New York City. This year’s gala will honor IBM with the Visionary Leadership Award, being accepted by Dr. John E. Kelly, III, Senior VP and Director of Research. Additionally, the Dana Reeve HOPE Award will be presented to Marsha Williams, and the Christopher Reeve Spirit of Courage Award will be presented to the Gonzalez-Bunster family.
The evening will feature dinner, dancing, and a silent celebrity auction followed by a live performance by Universal Motown/SRC recording artist Shontelle.
Proceeds will benefit the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, which is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
