Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the nation’s first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization representing veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, will hold its Fourth Annual Heroes Gala in New York City. This unique, star-studded and inspiring event will bring together distinguished members of the veterans' community, the media and high profile supporters.
The Master of Ceremonies will be NBC Nightly News Anchor and Managing Editor, Brian Williams. The event will honor Afghanistan veteran and best-selling author, Wes Moore and David Gelbaum, founder of the Iraq and Afghanistan Deployment Impact Fund, CEO of Entech Solar and chairman of the Quercus Trust. Special guest, Bill Cowher, legendary Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers head coach and CBS football analyst, will also participate.
