You are invited to the pre-production showcase of ABBIE, Bern Cohen's one-man show, based on the writing and speeches of sixties political activist, Abbie Hoffman.
The West End Theater - 263 W. 86th St. - October 17th at 3 pm
This event is a fundraiser to produce the show.
With support from Mrs. Abbie Hoffman and with her permission to use Abbie's words, we have created a revolutionary multi-media event for the Woodstock Nation and their children.

Morgan Freeman, production designer, creates a multi-screen, multi-media environment in which the audience becomes immersed in Abbie's story.
Historical footage, archived photos and other media create the stage for Abbie to share his life.
Known as "The Clown Prince" of the 60's, Abbie wrote about his personal challenges.
The October 17th Fundraising Event to produce ABBIE will include:
- Fifteen minute performance of selected ABBIE scenes by Bern Cohen
- Demonstration of Morgan Freeman's multi-media stage environment for ABBIE
- Viewing of personal Abbie home movies and other videos of Abbie
- Auction of Gallery-shown framed photos by Bern Cohen
- Auction of Abbie Hoffman personal memorabilia contributed by Mrs. Abbie Hoffman
- Selling of "support" investments in Abbie LLC: $100 for signed poster, $200 for poster and ABBIE dvd, $300 for poster, dvd and ABBIE t-shirt (Steal This Shirt)
- Selling ABBIE t-shirts.
Wine and refreshments will be served.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $20.
