Author and human rights attorney Marlen Bodden will speak about modern-day slavery, sign copies of her thrilling historical novel "The Wedding Gift," and discuss the film "At the End of Slavery" after its screening. Bodden's novel "The Wedding Gift" exposes the brutality of slavery and the abuse of women during the 19th century. The film "At the End of Slavery," narrated by Danny Glover, reveals the evil business of human trafficking throughout the world.
