A special evening of African music, dance, open bar, and celebration in support of the Akilah Institute for Women in Kigali, Rwanda. Meet two Akilah students, Anita and Gisele, who have made the journey from Rwanda to the US for the first time. Akilah transforms the lives of young women by empowering them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to find meaningful employment and to become leaders in their communities. Students receive a 2-year Diploma in Leadership & Hospitality Studies to prepare them to work in the fastest growing sector of the Rwandan economy.
