There are no plus ones.An exciting and eclectic array of musical acts from New Zealand will grace the stage at this years CMJ Music Marathon festival in New York City to offer a taste of indie-rock, synth-pop and future soul. The NZ@CMJ Showcase is one of CMJs opening night events and is a collaboration between New Zealand music promotion agencies NZ On Air and the NZ Music Commission.The NZ@CMJ 2010 event takes place at (le) Poisson Rouge on Tuesday, October 19th and features performances from New Zealand artists Zowie, Street Chant, Kids Of 88, Electric Wire Hustle and Lawrence Arabia. Also on the bill is songstress Ruby Frost, the winner of MTV New Zealand and 42 Belows 42Unheard competition.
