GO VIG OR GO HOME - NYC’s hottest new gay lounge certainly knows how to give back to the community. Every Sunday, VIG 27 donates a percentage of all bar proceeds to benefit a different charity each week. On Sunday, October 10, a percentage of bar sales will be donated to support the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization. Hosted by the one and only Marti Gould Cummings, ”˜ANYTHING GOES’ on Sunday evenings at VIG features drink specials and two-for-one specialty cocktails ALL NIGHT - all for a good cause. Cheers to that!
While sipping away at one of VIG’s delicious cocktails, check out photographer Fernando Vega’s stunning photographs from the July 4 Invasion of the Pines in Fire Island that adorn the walls of the backroom. Part of VIG 27’s guest artist program, the backroom of VIG features rotating artwork, photographs or sculptures from up-and-coming gay artists each month, with all pieces available for purchase! And don’t forget to ask our fabulous bartenders about the Wisdom of Pearl daily drink special. Every day, each $5 Pearl Vodka cocktail you purchase automatically enters you into a monthly raffle for iPods, DVD players, flat screen TV’s and more!
