Recognized as one of the music industry’s top photographers, Mike Schreiber will launch his first book TRUE Hip-Hop at W Times Square, which features photographs of some of the biggest and brightest stars of hip-hop: Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, Eminem, M.I.A. and more. His work has been featured in major magazines from Rolling Stone to New York Magazine, but for the first time the iconic images from his book will be revealed at a private book launch at The Living Room at W Times Square on Tuesday, October 26th from 7pm-9pm. This exhibit will remain on display for the public until November 1st.
The photos in TRUE Hip-Hop are accompanied with stories about the shoots, revealing how he infuses the images with intimacy and integrity sharing an aesthetic viewpoint that is refined yet undeniably honest in its raw and gritty tone. Mike will also be on hand to sign copies of his book and discuss his infamous photographs.
Complimentary cocktails will be provided by Cîroc and special guest DJ Victorious will perform at the invite-only launch event.
