Balvenie 14-Years old caribbean cask Launch

The Balvenie invites you to special celebration as it introduces its newest expression. A Single malt launch playing up the Caribbean heritage of this scotch whisky. "The Balvenie 14-Year-Old Caribbean Cask" has been finished in barrels that were once used to age Caribbean Rum, which gives the whisky a really interesting, spicy, fruity taste. With that in mind, the event will be a sort of Scotland-meets-the-Caribbean theme, with plenty of whisky as well as some specially created cocktails by Charlotte Voisey, who is apparently one of the world's best bartenders. But wait! There's more. The whole Caribbean theme will be nicely augmented by a live set performance by Chembo Corniel, a Grammy-nominated Cuban musician (think classic Caribbean (Harry Belanfonte, Buena Vista Social Club).
