Fashion Loves New York 2010: A New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Social Gala

Fashion ♥s NY (FLNY) is an exclusive invite-only upscale fashion event for New York Fashion Week. FLNY is a one night affair illustrating couture and luxury brands as well as world-class entertainment and receptions. FLNY is held in exquisite venues every NYFW and is attended by high-end consumers, invited high-end store buyers and members of press This year's theme, "An Emerging Odyssey", will be leveraged to aid in the development and recognition of local and emerging fashion professionals. This social gala will bring together 250 young, dynamic professionals with multiple discipline representation in the fashion industry. The affair will feature imminent designers showcasing and presenting their SS2011 collections to the fashion community (buyers, press and consumers). In one night, this vibrant and passionate event will be used to pay homage to the magnificent and alluring industry of fashion by: (a) creating an opulent yet powerful atmosphere for myriad groups of fashion professionals to exchange ideas; (b) illustrating fashion presentations by five new emerging designers; (c) heightening awareness around emerging fashion and enabling attendees to engage in the excitement around FLNY’s affair for NYFW. An event of this magnitude shores up the FLNY mission by bringing emerging designers to the forefront of the NYC fashion industry. As a result, designers who showcase their collection with FLNY will be well suited to leverage this powerful platform to increase visibility of their brand.
