Fossil Features Artist Dolan Geiman During Fashion's Night Out

Fossil announces plans for Fashion’s Night Out 2010. The brand will host three artists at its flagship New York City stores on September 10. Each artist will create custom art on location to be given away as a gift with each $100 purchase. The event is part of Long Live Art—Fossil’s collaborative project designed to celebrate and preserve its favorite vintage art forms. The brand asked each participating artist to create one original work for the collaboration—a visual interpretation of Fossil’s fall fashion lifestyle concept Long Live Vintage. The artists’ unique designs adorn a variety of Fossil products, including tote bags, tee shirts, and stamp kits, that will be available for purchase at the event. Dolan Geiman, a Chicago-based, mixed-media talent who uses found and recycled materials to create his vintage-inspired work, will appear at Fossil’s 34th Street store. He’ll be screenprinting custom panel paintings and complimentary cards during the event.
