Molteni&C and Gio Ponti: La casa all'italiana

Molteni&C presents furnishings designed by the Olympian Italian designer Gio Ponti at its New York flagship store at 60 Greene Street, September 16-30, 2010. In an exclusive collaboration with Ponti’s heirs under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati, the Molteni&C and Gio Ponti presentation will include chairs, shelving, a floor covering, and accessories. Among the highlights is a metal chair designed in the 1930s for Montecatini’s Milan headquarters. The presentation at the Molteni&C Dada Unifor Flagship Store is intended as a window into the world of Gio Ponti and will feature photographs of his designs and a vintage documentary dedicated to the Pirelli skyscraper, his most famous piece of architecture.
