Hi friends! Wanted to invite you all out to the Brooklyn Flea’s opening weekend this Saturday! The big Bakesale for Japan is happening that day and I’ll be contributing white bark balls and chocolate nero cookies to sell and also working the table from 10-2 PM. All proceeds go directly to Peace Winds Japan, an amazing NGO that is on the ground helping out over there providing food and shelter, medicine, and clothing and blankets, among other things.
Along with lots of amazing home bakers, there are also some great bakeries donating goods that you’ll be able to buy. So come on out and visit me! It’s supposed to be 53 degrees and sunny.
Plus, this is probably the only opportunity you will ever have to witness me trying to handle a cash register for a crowd. “Trying” being the key word here.
