As part of my fundraising endeavor, I will complete my first marathon in Alaska this June 18th. The physical challenge I face compares little to the courageous story of many of my teammates. My friend, Lindsay Osborn is one such teammate. Lindsay was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia in 2004 and diagnosed last summer with her 13th tumor. Although another grueling round of radiation treatment made it impossible for her to continue training, I will race in honor of her and countless others who have battled blood cancer.Please consider supporting the society, and me, as we fight this disease.
