Need some Food for Thought? Approximately 3.7 million New York City adults cannot read beyond the 5th grade level. Literacy Partners, New Yorks only accredited adult literacy program, is hosting a luncheon to help battle adult illiteracy. This year, the four-part Food for Thought series continues with a presentation by author and screenwriter Tracey Jackson, followed by a panel with photographer and author Nigel Barker, make-up Guru and author Carmindy and O Magazine Beauty Editor and author Valerie Monroe.
