Self-Defining Mediums, which just moved from its Manhattan premiere at The Lobby Gallery on Park Avenue, is a show of freestanding works on a variety of themes in larger-than-life frames. It runs April 5 to May 2 at the Atrium at Tilles Center, Long Island’s premier concert hall. The artists are all 11th and 12th graders from Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and members of the Honors Art Intensive at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts. The artists of the Intensive have been exhibited in an increasing number of venues over the past few years, including a dedicated show at the Huntington Library, and as part of “Long Island’s Best” at the Heckscher Museum.
