CELEBRITY CHEF KATIE LEE SERVES UP STYLE WITH GAP'S “PICO DE GAP” TACO TRUCK IN NEW YORK CITY

In celebration of its 1969 Fall Denim Collection, Gap will launch its first-ever gourmet taco truck, aptly named "Pico de Gap." From August through September, the fully outfitted ’Pico De Gap’ Taco Truck will roll into New York City at local Gap stores and will pop up at special events, street festivals, neighborhood bars and other hot spots. Kicking off its culinary adventure on August 8th, customers will be treated to a custom menu ’designed’ by New York Times best-selling author Katie Lee, also known for hosting the first season of Top Chef and writing culinary and lifestyle features for an array of magazines. Katie’s unique tacos are $1.69 for two tacos and a beverage, or free with proof of a same-day Gap denim purchase. In addition, each order will include a coupon for $20 off the new 1969 denim collection and some lucky orders will even include a special coupon redeemable for a free pair of 1969 jeans up to $90.00. The ’Pico De Gap’ Taco Truck will also travel throughout Los Angeles with celebrity chef Marcel Vigneron, Chicago with celebrity chef Rick Gresh and San Francisco with celebrity chef Ryan Scott.
