Sunset Cocktails for a Cause

On August 15th, Helping Hearts Council, a division of the Happy Hearts Fund, will be hosting the Sunset Cocktails for a Cause fundraiser in New York City. The goal is to raise enough money for an ARTS and MUSIC program at L’Ecole Nouvelle Zoranje Primary School and Kindergarten in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. The music program will enhance and develop the natural love and appreciation children in Haiti already have for music. The art program can give children (including those with problems in other academic disciplines) a chance to develop and show their talent, to develop passion for something they love and is important to them and widen their horizons. A good art program is a 'gate' to develop one's senses, creativity and mind. Furthermore playing music together teaches cooperation, mutual respect and team practices.
