New York, NY - Get ready for Powella Productions’ ’The Kong Show: Summer Staycation!’ the biggest little vaudeville-style comedy variety show in town, Monday, August 15 at 7pm at the Café Iguana, 240 W. 54th Street (Broadway and 8th Avenue).
Join Powell Leonard as your host Chuck E. Baby, channeling a hilarious impersonation of a Chuck Barris-like Gong Show 70's TV host, featuring the stand up comedy magic of Irish Dave Cremin; plus, from Spike TV, special guest comedians Rob Gorden and Mark Douglas; and also, as seen at Carnegie Hall and on the David Letterman Show, musical guest Janene Otten.
Plus, get ready to experience a summer heat wave with sizzling singer/dancer, burlesque performer Sake Fevah!
And, laugh out loud with the outrageous sketch comedy antics of the LionHearted Players, Andrew Cordle, Lorraine Klimowich, and Cathy Schramm as they illustrate the fine art of Post-Post Modern Summer Loving in Mike Folie’s ’The Art of Love.’
