Luncheon With Best-Selling Author Wally Lamb to Fight Adult Illiteracy

Need some "Food for Thought?" Approximately 3.7 million New York City adults cannot read beyond the 5th grade level. Literacy Partners, New York's only accredited adult literacy program, is hosting a luncheon to help battle adult illiteracy. This year, the four-part Food for Thought series continues with Wally Lamb, best-selling author of The Hour I First Believed, She's Come Undone, and I know This Much Is True. Each year, Literacy Partners helps approximately 2000 adult New Yorkers and their families by providing free, quality education.
