Art Four Life
’Out of the Dark’ Photography Exhibit
Opening Cocktail Reception January 7th, 7-10pm
Art Four Life is proud to present ’Into the Dark’ photography exhibit hosted by The Art Bar at Webster Hall in the East Village, showcasing the work of the artist Egotrip. Most recently seen at the Kiva Gallery in Tribeca, the M2 Gallery in Chelsea and Soho’s Collective Hardware, his edgy and provocative work captures contemporary metropolitan scene-scapes in dark, melancholic moments.
Webster Hall stands firmly as New York City’s largest and longest running nightclub and entertainment venue. A 40,000 square foot architectural landmark, the venue first opened its doors in 1886. Webster Hall's size and longevity are unmatched worldwide - garnering a reputation as ’The Greatest Party on Earth.’ In the 1910, Eugene O'Neil, the great American playwright and leftist political thinker, declared Webster Hall ’The Crown Jewel of Greenwich Village." In 2004, Prince proclaimed Webster Hall "The Best Stage in New York City."
Ever innovative, Webster Hall recently renovated, dedicating one of its many rooms to the furtherance of the local New York City art community and to supporting the artistic scene in Manhattan’s East Village. The Art Bar Gallery opened in mid-November, and has since featured several mixed media exhibits. Four times a year Webster Hall transforms the entire venue into artistic showcase titled the Quarterly Art Soiree (QAS), complete with live performances, exhibitions and live music. Explore the venue that for over 120 years has been the focal point of cultural celebration and freedom in the heart of the world's greatest stage - NYC.
Please join us on Friday January 7th from 7 to 10pm for an opening cocktail reception for the ’Out of the Dark’ exhibit. The soundtrack for the evening will be selected by DJ Astudokkas. For more information or to RSVP, please contact fourlife@fourlifefoundation.org.
