Description
You have a website or perhaps you’re building a website and you have a lot to tell: multiple services, products, your telephone number, 18 white papers, dozens of blog posts, an about page, and a lot more. And you may have multiple audiences as well. Web Designers design web pages, but don’t necessarily walk you through the marketing and business implications of organizing your information and allowing customers to get to the information they want—when they want it. Content strategy is a critical piece of the puzzle for creating a website online. Connecting the user’s experience to your marketing and business goals is key to producing the results you want. Melea Seward is the resident CAD at Chief Amusement Designer (dot com). She created Board of Us, a playful Board of Directors for people in search of change of all kinds. She teaches and speaks on storytelling, creativity, authenticity and digital media strategy at the Fashion Institute of Technology, The Levin Institute, The Kings College, In Good Company, TedX, The 2011 Leadership Conference, National Association of Women Business Owners and Entrepreneurs and via her own classes. Melea consults one-on-one and in small groups to small business owners, internet start-ups, entrepreneurs, non-profits, universities and foundations to help them connect people from disparate locations, build stronger relationships on-line and off, and improve end-user experience. When she isn’t teaching, speaking, or consulting, she is creating social experiments and conducting thought experiments on the web and in the world. $79 per person; 12 person limit.
