On May 22, 2011, an F3 tornado half a mile wide wiped out nearly half of Joplin, Missouri, a small town along Route 66. Over 100 lives were lost, making it officially the deadliest tornado in U.S. history. Come to Los Feliz on Wednesday, June 1, to raise money for Red Cross of Southwest Missouri's relief efforts - 100% of proceeds will go straight to those in need of food, shelter, and recovery. $20 donations are suggested at the door. Feel good, make a difference, and enjoy a great margarita while you're at it.
