| Description |
Jeremy Hush is a prolific illustrator who has been creating intricate drawings for heavy metal bands for many years. If you're a fan of the metal scene, you would have seen his work on posters for U. S. Christmas and many others.
Heavily influenced by Arthur Rackham, Jeremy's spidery scenes and characters are often drawn with ballpoint pen (he prefers using pens he's found) and a plethora of other materials ranging from watercolor to coffee.
To quote Out of Print Magazine: "Jeremy Hush, this guy’s just gorgeously sick. His prints… Well, remember that scene in Legend before Tom Cruise got all fucked in the head, when petals and dust are swimming in the air and it’s beautiful and peaceful and then suddenly everything turns to chaos and the angry hell boy destroys the unicorn, well… Yeah, they’re like that."
Please join us at the White Rabbit for his solo exhibition's opening reception on Friday March 4th at 7pm.
