BOMB Bash 2011: Conversation as Collaboration

Celebrating 30 years of conversations between artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians, directors, and performers, BOMB Magazine and Marlborough Chelsea present a unique lineup of collaborative performances. Partnerships were initiated between disparate artists whose creative paths, once running parallel, now intersect for this event. Six groupings explore various degrees of collaboration, what artist Franklin Evans, dancer Niall Noel Jones, and playwright Paul David Young cite as “overlapping”� aspects. Ongoing performances will be punctuated by some shorter pieces throughout the evening, all to culminate in a musical finale conducted by Rashaad Newsome.
