Girls in Science and Engineering Day

Girls in Science and Engineering Day will include a variety of interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities about marine science and the Hudson River on Sunday, March 20 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.A special exhibit called ’Space Goggles’ will let kids experience what it’s like to see like an astronaut floating in space.The events are part of Intrepid’s 31-day ’Salute to Women’ celebration during Women’s History Month. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is honoring women who have served our nation - both in military uniform and out - with a series of events designed to honor, educate and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
