The American Federation of Arts (AFA) is pleased to announce that Angela Westwater of Sperone Westwater Gallery will be speaking at this year’s annual spring luncheon, to be held at the Harmonie Club on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. Ms. Westwater will discuss the history of Sperone Westwater, her experience working with artists such as Bruce Nauman, Susan Rothenberg, Guillermo Kuitca, and Mario Merz, among others, and her perspective on the impact of art and architecture in the rejuvenation of the Lower East Side.
