| Description |
Playwright Andrea J. Fulton has based her play on a true story of her family in 1800's Louisiana. The central character Charley, a mulatto, is faced with the decision of whether or not to "pass". Though touching on serious issues of power, love, values, and loyalty, Fulton has cleverly constructed "One Drop" so that it packs a punch with subtlety, charm, and humor. There is also original music for voice and musicians on banjo, harmonica, guitar, saxophone, bass and percussion.
