| Description |
The renowned electric chamber ensemble, the Bang on a Can All-Stars (Ashley Bathgate, Robert Black, Vicky Chow, David Cossin, Derek Johnson, and Evan Ziporyn), opens Bang on a Can's 25th anniversary season in New York with a late-night (9pm) concert at Carnegie Hall. The first 200 audience members to arrive receive a free drink in the lobby. The All-Stars' program includes the New York premieres of iconic Dutch composer Louis Andriessen's Life with film by Marijke Van Warmerdam, and David Lang's sunray, plus music by Michael Gordon, Kate Moore, David Longstreth (Dirty Projectors), and Lukas Ligeti.
