Welcome Reception and Film Premiere of Nicky's Family documentary.
A new drama-documentary on the story of Nicholas Winton, the British man who saved 669 children, most of them Jews, from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.
The English-language documentary Nicky's Family won Karlovy Vary’s Audience Award, chosen from among 275 films in the overall Festival. Nicky's Family tells the nearly forgotten story of Nicholas Winton, an Englishman who organized the rescue of 669 Czech and Slovak children just before the outbreak of World War II. Nicky's Family received an average rating of 1.10 from the Audience voters, with 1 being the highest rating and 5 the lowest.
