WHAT: Tough economy got you down? Running low on vacation days? Leave your passport at home because the first annual NOVEMBEERFEST has you covered! On Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th, beer lovers and beer snobs are invited to ’hops’ around the festival to try brews, ales, lagers, cervesas, pilsners, stouts, biers, pivos and birras from around the world, complimented by appetizers from the same region!
WHO: Founder and Director of NY Craft Beer Week, Josh Schaffner, has been recruited to create the festival’s beer list, which will consist of 100 varieties of beer including Goose Island beers Pere Jacques, Matilda, Pepe Nero, and Fleur as well as international favorites like Cusquena and Peroni, just to name a few. To compliment the beer, the following foods will be offered: tortilla wrapped Asian marinated short ribs with topped kim chee, cheesesteak egg rolls, beer braised corned beef on rye with melted swiss and sauerkraut and hot dot dog sliders, among others.
