| Description |
The first woman dean of an engineering school in the U.S. will visit NYIT to give a lecture on the new face of engineering leadership. Eleanor Baum, Ph.D., will lead a discussion on the importance of STEM education to America’s competitiveness in the global economy. She will also talk about efforts to increase the number of women and minorities in STEM professions to fulfill the need for more engineers, IT professionals, and scientists, among others.
