North Shore LIJ and Lenox Hill Autumn Ball

This spring, Lenox Hill Hospital marked the one year anniversary of our partnership with the North Shore-LIJ Health System. As the Health System’s Manhattan flagship facility, we are pleased to report that our Hospital has demonstrated its continued commitment to providing the tri-state area with outstanding and compassionate medical services. As such, Lenox Hill Hospital has hired over 350 new staff members, including physicians, nurses, and technicians; enhanced our information systems; and developed a master facility plan to expand our clinical programs, at both the 77th Street and 64th Street campuses. Additionally, we are making exciting progress towards opening the Comprehensive Care Center downtown, under the license of Lenox Hill Hospital. The Center, projected to open in late 2013, will be the city’s first stand-alone emergency and ambulatory care facility, and will provide exceptional patient care to the underserved by board-certified, emergency-trained physicians.
