Erected from imported heirloom woods, handcrafted tiles and treasured stone, the venue promises nothing short of uncompromised artistry. WHAT: Three emerging artists unveiling their current works and eccentric personalities at a unique creative event. Escape the parameters of paint play drawn up by the traditional art world and enter the inclusive, immersive ambience of Terrace Art Splatters, a soiree that integrates cocktails, conversation and unbridled creative spirit. It isn’t everyday that up and coming artists take it upon themselves to put together a spectacle in a commodious non-conformist space, which makes this one night event stand apart from the scores of cultural gatherings New York is so reputed for. Seizing PR, press and publicity, Jay, Foox and Fox set out to celebrate their calling in a unique platform with the incredible support structure offered by Alex Glen at the Hudson Terrace and Jason Winslow from Splash. WHO: Meet the Artists: Asher Jay http://www.asherjay.com/ Asher Jay is a designer, artist, writer and activist. She’s a staunch supporter of animal rights, wildlife conservation and sustainable development and she uses her fashion, art and writing to raise awareness. Through her extensive travels across the globe, and her studies in art history, she has developed an aesthetic sensibility that is amalgam of contrasting cultural influences. All her work is anchored by the deep commitment she harbors toward the realization of a collective future. David Foox http://www.foox-u.com/ David Foox was born in South Africa and raised partly in America and New Zealand. He is most interested in the fabric of our reality and the laws applicable to Universal Reality and philosophy, weaving stories through ancient symbols relating to diverse religious beliefs. Penelope Fox http://penelopefoxart.com/ Fox is a self taught artist, raised in Bristol, Pennsylvania. After traveling Europe and South America, Penelope settled in Southern California where she studied photography and design, and received an Associate Degree in the Graphic Arts. Fox has made a unique den for herself by designing album covers and advertisements for several indie and major label bands. She also designed progressive websites for several companies.
